| Description | The OMTA Composition Celebration is a state-wide event which
provides students with a unique opportunity to both perform their
original compositions and have them adjudicated by experienced
composers.
At the District level, students submit their notated scores along with the application, audio recording, and entry fee. Adjudication is completed prior to the District Composition Recital, where students perform their compositions and receive a written evaluation from the adjudicator. Students selected by the adjudicator are invited to perform at the State Composition Celebration. |
