| Forms | OMTA Ensemble Festival Entry Form Recital Master List On the entry form, under the "Instrument" column, please specify which part each performer is playing (Primo or Secondo for 4 hands piano works, Piano I, Piano II for two-piano.) In the case of non-keyboard parts, please list the appropriate instrument or vocal description (violin, guitar, soprano, tenor, etc.) For the accuracy of our records, identify all non-student performers on the program information in the following way: "Jones, Sally (mother)." |

Non-Competitive Recitals: Instrumental and vocal performers of all ages are welcome. At least one performer in each group must study with a current OMTA member. Teachers may perform with their students. One piano 4-hands, two-piano works, ensemble repertoire from any style or period, transcriptions and original concerto repertoire can be performed. The time limit is 6 minutes per group, however exceptions may be made for advanced students and those performing concerto repertoire. All Recitals: Bring an original score of your piece for the adjudicator. Students should use only original scores. We apologize for the inconvenience, but photocopied music is illegal, and a student will be disqualified if she/he uses photocopies. However, a copy printed from a public domain internet library (e.g. Petrucci Music Libaray) is allowed. Such a copy should be in a binder and have a cover page. |
| Description | All students perform in an adjudicated recital and receive comments. The purpose of the ensemble festival is to encourage music students to prepare and perform ensemble music as well as to hear and enjoy other groups perform. Students may choose to participate in the competitive or non-competitive recital. Read carefully the following paragraphs so you enter the appropriate recital. A maximum of 15 minutes per teacher is allotted for a 45-minute recital. |
