Memorization is strongly encouraged. If student chooses to use the score, a second score is required for the adjudicator.
Description All students perform in an adjudicated recital and receive comments. Teachers may choose to enter their students in the competitive or non-competitive recitals. The instrumental categories included are: Piano, Organ, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, and Vocal.

In order for more students to have the opportunity to compete, there will be new age divisions as follows:

  • Division III: ages 12-14;
  • Division IV: ages 15-19
