| Repertoire | Music of the Baroque, Classic, Romantic, Impressionistic and Contemporary eras. Method book pieces and transcriptions are not permitted. Syllabus manuals and repertoire lists can be purchased from the OMTA state office. | Description | OMTA Syllabus is a suggested course of study made available to each
member to use as a guide in teaching. It covers theory, technique,
sight-reading and ear training, as well as repertoire. A qualified
adjudicator evaluates the student's presentation of the requirements
and provides written comments. Certificates are awarded to participating students.
Syllabi have been written for piano, organ, voice, strings, woodwinds, guitar and
jazz piano.
