Jane Young's Piano Studio offers piano and keyboard lessons for all ages. Whether you are five or 95, you can learn to play music you enjoy!
Children who play piano show greater ability in math and reading. Keyboard lessons given to the elderly result in improved overall health. At any age, playing piano stimulates the brain positively.
Besides the joy of making music, piano lessons foster mind/body coordination, the ability to concentrate, a sense of mastery and positive self-esteem.
Exciting new piano materials are being published all the time, making lessons more appealing and fun than ever before. Optional materials include:
Not at all! Beginning music books are available for teens and adults, for either classical or pop music. Older students can also learn “chord-style” playing, an easy way to play your favorite music.
Jane has played piano since childhood in many musical settings. She has taught in the schools and performed professionally and for non-profit groups. In recent years she has focused on teaching private lessons to students of all ages.
