2026 Silent Film Celebration

Description

Two vintage silent movies will be shown: “The Goat” and “One Week”, each with live piano accompaniment. This is presented under the auspices of the Eugene Chapter of the Oregon Music Teachers Association. The Silent Film Celebration model was developed by Silent Film Celebration, a nonprofit organization.

Teachers find music for their student, reserve a scene, and work with the student to practice and time their selection to fit. Students may compose their own piece.

Seating is limited at the Art House. We will give out tickets based on student requests for family and friends.
