Fees

$40 to play in one film, $50 for two. NOTE: this fee is higher than other recitals because participants will all receive a T-shirt! Please let your teacher know what size you want (please use adult sizing).

Rehearsal

We will have a rehearsal at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Central Lutheran Church, 1857 Potter St. They have parking available.

Description

Two vintage silent movies will be shown: “The Goat” and “One Week”, each with live piano accompaniment. The Silent Film Celebration model was developed by Silent Film Celebration, a nonprofit organization.

Teachers find music for their student, reserve a scene, and work with the student to practice and time their selection to fit. Students may compose their own piece.

Show tickets

Seating is limited at the Art House. We will give out tickets based on student requests for family and friends.
